I hold my breath all the time. Super happy, hold my breath. Upset, hold my breath. The worst is when I am concentrating.
I have the SAME problem. Which is strange because I am right hand dominant so you would think my right side would be stronger π€
I’m pretty centered but I put more weight in my left foot then I do my right.
Same me!
I laugh when I get in a pickle with a horse, but maybe that’s a good thing π€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈ
Iβd take a loose right leg for talent like this ππππ
My right heel is always firmly down but somehow my left always sneaks it way out! I have trainers yelling ‘LEFT DOWN’ and I look down and there it is all relaxedππ
I have the same problem and I just cannot control my right leg aha

Right hand dominant riders often have left side riding issues, because our bodies are oriented in diagonal pairs. Learned that just recently, but it’s totally true and gave me insight into my habit of collapsing my left ribcage.

After 30 years of western riding, Iβm learning to ride English and jump. I tend to loose my right stirrup when riding… I think Iβm used to riding with my thighs instead of my calves (need more heels down)!
